On the occasion of the day of the book, the Department of Culture of the City of Moratalla with the collaboration of the AMPA of the Public School Juana Rodriguez has made this April 22 in the Glorieta a series of cultural activities in which both children and adults have participated.
The morning began at 11 with workshops of magic cubes, stories and storytelling, made by AMPA volunteers from CP Juana Rodríguez and they had a great participation.
The Department installed a booth of the Public Library of Moratalla, with a selection of books of the latest acquisitions made, to make them known among the attending public and also could read some passage in the collective reading that took place after 12 in the morning.
Another of the stands was the AMPA of CP Juana Rodríguez, where copies of the books edited by them could be bought, with the selection of stories and poems of the children who had participated in the literary contest organized in the school.
In addition, there was a wide selection of books by authors Moratalleros, some of whom visited and participated in reading, such as José Rogelio, JJ Sánchez, Jesús Navarro, or Marcial García.
Beginning at 12, the shared reading began, in which everyone who wanted to read a piece of his favorite work, and where passages from different books by Michael Ende, poems by Gloria Fuertes, or even texts by Eduardo Mendoza.
All the people who participated in the reading received as a gift a book and a mark pages, distributing about 200 copies among the attendees.
To finish the act the company "Entrementes Theater" interpreted the work of puppets "Dreaming and playing with words" that made the delight of all the children and adults who attended.
