The operation, framed in services established to prevent and prosecute drug trafficking, began when a meeting was detected between two people outside the town of Moratalla that generated certain suspicions.
To clarify the facts, the agents approached the meeting of these two people, who fled the place in different directions after detecting the police presence.
The tracking device established at that time allowed the agents to intercept shortly afterwards in the town center of one of the vehicles involved in the suspicious meeting, getting off the driver of the same and undertaking flight by foot, although a few minutes later was located And arrested.
The other person involved in the meeting, who also fled on her moped, was spotted and detained shortly thereafter.
The exhaustive inspection carried out by one of the suspects showed that the meeting was supposed to be a drug transaction, when they found suspicious packages that once opened were found to contain high purity cocaine , Giving a total weight of 625 grams, reason why was attributed to the two arrested the alleged authorship of crime of drug traffic.
Following the finding of the drug and the arrests, the agents have carried out, prior judicial authorization, two records in the homes of those arrested, one in Moratalla and another in Cartagena, where there have been interventions related to drug trafficking.
In the operation, which is still open, agents have seized 625 grams of high purity cocaine, a high-end tourism, 130 euros in cash, and three mobile phones.
