During this week a recording of one of the chapters of the next season of 'Las rutas Capone', a program that is broadcast on La 2 de Televisión Española, is taking place in several points of the municipality of Moratalla.
A program that guarantees an important tourist projection of Moratalla, since it combines the knowledge of tourist routes with their natural and cultural potentials with the main course of the program that is linked to gastronomy.
Each of the "Las Rutas Capone" programs are developed through a trip where the chef Roberto Capone presents several outstanding foods of the area, making routes through the most charming spaces, dialoguing with locals and making recipes from which the viewer can take good note.
It is a program that shows the diversity of the Spanish culinary culture, but above all it makes visible the professional work of the protagonists that accompany Roberto Capone on his way, elaborating a close and human portrait of the small agri-food producers and the respect they profess to the raw materials with which they work.
Enthusiast of Spanish gastronomy, the ItalianRoberto Caponeha has been running for more than three decades the restaurants "La Antigua Tahona" and "La Posada del Campanario", places of reference in the Sierra Norte de Madrid, where he used the seasonal products that he offered the natural environment to prepare succulent seasonal dishes.
After a long international career that has led him to carry out his profession in more than a dozen restaurants around the world, Roberto Capone has been distinguished with the Five Stars of Italian Cuisine (Stella D'Italia) in the category Italian Cuisine Master Chef for his commitment to guarantee the quality and authenticity of Italian gastronomy.
During this Monday recording sessions have begun in different parts of the Region such as Cehegín, Cieza and in the natural environment of Moratalla, and the visit of the renowned chef to the municipality is expected next Wednesday to proceed with the recording of the central part of the program from the Castle.
The mayor, Jesus Amo, who has been accompanying the recording set for each of the charming corners that are being recorded by Moratalla, has stated that "this program represents a new step in the tourist promotion of our municipality, a priority issue to make Moratalla more known and attract more visitors to our land. "
In this sense, the mayor has taken the opportunity to ask for support to Moratalla in the Rural Tourism Capital contest of 2018 to the different members of the delegation of the program.
