TEXT OF MANIFEST 25-N

Today, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Murcia and Murcia return to strongly express our opposition to gender violence.

Today we are given a new opportunity for progress on the path towards equality between men and women.

With this manifesto, the Region of Murcia is in addition to the voices from all corners of the globe, November 25 condemning all forms of violence against women and requires a strong and clear commitment of the entire society to meet this scourge.

The aggressors must know that in our society there is no room for abuse, just for respect and equality are the pillars of our existence and the best education for our sons and daughters.

No further action is despicable that the aggression of a man to a woman for the simple fact of being, so we must be energetic and forceful cry of condemnation for those who violate our rejection of pain.

On 25 November is an important date in the fight against what is now the largest demonstration of violence among people in the world, which no reason or reasons for it, because there is no excuse, no reason for a violent act, and either from physical force or from the humiliation.

Abuse is not justified but is from the cowardice and unworthiness, and deserve only the contempt of society through his punishment.

So today we say:

1.

Men and women are equal, with equal rights and duties.

Gender differences can never lead to violence, but a great show of respect and tolerance.

2.

Children are also victims of gender violence and exposure to it is a serious form of child abuse, which can lead to irreversible consequences.

3.

The violence is the ultimate expression of inequality between men and women and the worst humiliations, end it is our duty and commitment.

It is a realistic and hopeful challenge.

4.

Every victim is not only unfortunate and irreparable loss: it is a shame unforgivable lies on the conscience of society and public authorities.

5.

Society has an obligation not to remain silent or look the other way to great injustice.

The involvement of each and every one of us and we should be the first of the steps to build coexistence based on respect and justice.

6.

We demand values education can train people to respect your neighbor as themselves and to prevent future violent behavior between men and women.

7.

It is necessary to encourage the reporting of victims and their environment, so that silence does not become your worst ally, enhance protective measures for women and their children, streamline legal procedures to punish the offender, the hardening of the punishment and the search for new ways to eliminate gender inequalities.

8.

We support the creation and consolidation of resources and services that contribute to the protection of victims, while promoting recovery and full integration into society.

9.

We bet on the expertise of professionals working with victims and unification of management protocols that make the procedures of protection and intervention with them.

10.

The best way to eradicate violence against women is from the joint and coordinated work of all government, especially the closer and the first to treat women who experience violence.

November 25 should be a day for reflection and to find ways to solve this problem definitively.

It is also a time to pay our heartfelt tribute to the many women this year and previous years have lost their lives as a result of abuse by their partners or former partners.

To them we dedicate this day and they are committed to building a more just and united world in which there are no relations of power or domination of men over women.

Therefore, every day, but today especially, we claim loud and clear:

BATTERED WOMAN OR MORE!

NOT ONE MORE DEATH!

NOT ONE MORE!
