Councilman Diego Fernandez has been endorsed as a candidate for mayor of IU-Greens Moratalla municipality by decision of the municipal assembly composed of members of that political party.

Fernandez, a native of Moratalla and foreman forest fire brigade helicopter transport, indicated that his candidacy is made up of people "willing to give the best of themselves by the municipality."

He emphasized the role of the municipal group IU-Greens in this term, and insisted that the team of local government "has not been able to carry out its program and has also increased municipal debt."
