Twelve residents of Moratalla in exclusion form for seeking employment with the Association Project Abraham (10/01/2015)

The purpose is to offer a range of knowledge and skills to enable such persons to exercise an office

A total of 12 people in exclusion of the municipality of Moratalla have completed their training to job search, through participation in the workshop of 'Skills for employability' taught by Abraham Project partnership in this county.

In this workshop have worked since self-knowledge and self-esteem or self-care personnel and image, to find work (search tools and Internet) and the skills to use new technologies (computers and Internet).

With this there are three training workshops that nonprofit association develops in the municipality with the aim of integrating into society marginalized groups.

In the last three years have served and trained more than 30 people sent from the municipal social services through occupational sewing workshops, cobbler and 'Skills for employability'.

Abraham Project develops in Moratalla social work with people at risk and / or exclusion thanks to the resources that the entity obtained by selective collection of clothing, shoes and toys.

The City Council and Project Abraham maintain a cooperation agreement on the management of these wastes is regulated and care programs for people develop at social vulnerability.

The Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), Miguel Angel Miranda, delivered, with the mayor of Moratalla, Antonio Garcia, and the president of the Association Project Abraham, the diplomas to the workshop participants.

During delivery, Miralles said that "it is essential to promote training to enable the social integration of the most needy," so he appreciated the training initiatives undertaken by the association in different municipalities in the region of Murcia.

The Abraham Project Association's main objective is to ensure social cohesion, avoid social inequalities and coordinate resources as a strategy to maintain focus on the most vulnerable groups.

Miralles stressed the "important work" done by this organization, which is "an example of self-financing and reintegration, and besides all training initiatives undertaken, provides employment to people with difficulties".

The CEO praised the path having the association in different municipalities of the Community and its initiatives focused on attention to vulnerable groups and lines of work aimed at promoting and fostering friendly actions to the environment through management non-hazardous waste as textiles, shoes and toys.
