The Governing Council has approved Acting on a proposal from the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, hiring and spending the construction of industrial water treatment plant (WWTP) and general sanitation collector in the hamlet of El Sabine, in Moratalla.
The budget is 2,119,261 euros, funded 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union.
The new infrastructure, which will be recruited by open procedure and will be financed annuities of 2015 and 2016, have a deadline of 12 months.
With them will be conducted through an advanced treatment, purification of waste waters of this district currently discharged directly into the ravine of Los Toyos.
These works are included in the Comprehensive Sanitation Plan of the Region of Murcia and part of the master plan for sanitation and treatment works in the municipality of Moratalla.
Thus, it will serve a population of over 1,400 inhabitants of this hamlet.
Under this Plan, the Ministry has also built the sewage Moratalla, Benizar-La Tercia, Caņada de la Cruz and Calar de la Santa, which are in operation and general collectors leading the wastewater from the nuclei such plants population of wastewater treatment.
