The purpose of this Assembly was to know firsthand what the concerns of the youth of the town, and to present the activities between the Youth Council to develop this year.
The group of young people who attended was not very large, but very active, contributing ideas to be included in the work plan of the Department, among which are the creation of a book club, and new workshops addressing issues such as sexuality or diversity.
Young people are concerned about different issues such as gender violence, cyber-bulling or the environment and demand on these issues from the point of view of training as from leisure activities.
At this meeting were also presented the space from the Youth Council is expected to enable juvenile restaurant, located in the sports hall, which is expected to have computers with Internet access, wireless high-speed games, even consoles where you can play and organize championships or television to share time and space with their peers.
All this on a proposal from those attending the meeting, will be consulted through a survey of young people of the town you want to do it, so that the actions to be made in the local youth to the wishes and needs of as many young people as possible fit.
